The Business Process Automation platform is used in house
to source global financial information. The platform provides
CP operations with fast, accurate and comprehensive data
sets from public filings around the world. Extraction capabilities,
automated processes and workflow allows the CP data sourcing
group to efficiently collect and effectively process information
while managing the inevitable exceptions inherent in the
process.
Automated extraction and processing capabilities
The Extraction component collects data from highly unstructured
documents and includes operating data and information from
foot notes. Once extracted the data is normalized, validated
and undergoes Q/A checks. Initial drafts of financial models
and credit ratings are then generated for final analysts'
reviews and quality assurance checks. CP's Model
Factory applies the same approach based upon a client's
business logic and methodologies.
